We went to the fair and it wasn’t too bad considering we had a 4 year old and a 7 month old with us! Last night was opening night and believe it or not, it wasn’t too packed. It was nice because we didn’t have to fight through crowds or wait in lines. We did however miss seeing a lot of the animals because we got there a little late, but we do plan on going again later this week during the day.
My husband is a recruiter here in Montana (as I’ve said many times before) and they are working at the fair. We stopped by their booth many of times and I must say, it was fun to watch him and his coworkers do what they do best. The crowds where insane, everyone wants to do pull-ups! I honestly have no idea why… but they do. I’m sure if I tried to do one I would die. The pure thought exhausts me.
Of course Bradley had to show off…
My son, who just recently turned 4, had a blast. He went on every kiddy ride the fair had to offer. He enjoyed a fried corn dog and of course a big bag of sugar… also known as cotton candy.
When we got home and we were all tucked away in our beds he came up to me and whispered “mom, I had the best time at the fair.” That made every ache and pain from aging go away! :0) I know yesterday we made memories with my little guy! I hope he had a great time with “all the family” as he would say!
And, I must say Emma was a peach the entire time! Mom held her in the Ergo baby carrier the whole time and she loved it. Now… when it was time to go home and sit in her car seat, that was another story!
P.S. I want to say that I am truly sorry I missed Flash Back Thursday. It will pick back up next week. Unfortunately we had a small issue we had to tend to and I was unable to do the post. Next week it will continue.
